RCOA’s Core Values & Statement of Faith

Celebrating 10 years of serving families 2005 – 2015

Mission Statement

To work together by forming a team in partnership with parents to support them as they challenge and equip their children
to respond to God’s call as Christian leaders in a changing global community.

“We began this school together because we believe:

Quality education begins with strong families; it is RCOA’s goal to empower home learning families with a support system of services, counsel, and community.

By strengthening the family unit children learn in a safe, secure, loving home environment.”

Our Statement of Faith

We Believe. . . the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

Our Story

Regent Christian Academy (RCA) was founded in 1978 in Surrey, BC when God spoke clearly to the pastors and leaders of Bible Fellowship Church that He wanted a place where He could be free to touch hearts and lives.

In May 2005 RCOA was founded by RCA. This new Distributed Learning School program was based out of Victoria, BC but is an extension of RCA’s ministry, designed to meet the needs of home learning families.

In 2015, RCOA celebrated a decade of serving families learning at home. With the opening of our Lower Mainland Office, an updated logo, mYrcoa, this new website, and many exciting new projects it is our goal to serve the homelearning community better than ever before.

Thank you for visiting our site.
We are glad you did!

We are sorry to inform you that our Learning Services program is now full for the 2021-2022 school year.  We strive to provide the best possible support for all of our families, and due to an overwhelming response, all of our resources are at capacity.  This means that at this time we are unable to admit any new learners with KPQ or R designations or other learners requiring learning support assistance.

We don't take it lightly that you reached out to us.  We will keep your name on the waitlist in case there are some withdrawals, but we recommend that you seek other arrangements for your Fall programming.

Blessings to you as you plan your year
