Library World: Preparing for 2019/2020!

We are excited to support you in your educational plans for the coming school year! RCOA’s Library World opened on May 1 for ordering for the 2019/20 school year. This past week we have begun fulfilling and shipping orders. Library books can be kept for the entire school year, and will be due back by the end of June 2020. If you are finished with a book sooner than that, we do encourage you to return your books early, so that other families can benefit from these resources.

Library orders for Grade K-9 students are being shipped according to the dates they were received. Orders for high school students will be shipped later this summer, once deposits have been paid and courses have been activated. If you would like to place a library order, but would like the library to delay shipping due to your vacation schedule, please make a note on your order form, or contact Vivian at

When you receive your shipment in the mail, please check the contents of your box carefully against your Library World record. If you notice any of the following, please contact Vivian immediately at

  • There are items in your box that were not ordered by you.
  • Your Library World record shows that a book is in your box that is actually not in your box.

Please do not wait until you return library books next June to report any discrepancies.

If you ordered Support or Kit materials, they may or may not be included in your box. All Support and Kit materials are signed out on a first come, first served basis. If the Support or Kit materials you ordered are not included in your box, they should not be listed as checked out to you on your Library World Record. They have been placed on reserve for you. If they are returned to the library, Vivian will contact you to see if you are still interested in borrowing them. We cannot guarantee that Support or Kit materials will be returned early.

If you would like some help with ordering from the library, please contact your home learning support teacher. We have created a step-by-step Library World handbook that your HLST will happily send to you. Happy ordering!
