Let me introduce you to RCOA’s FACEBOOK FAMILY.  We have several different groups and pages; each with their own specific purpose and appropriate privacy settings.

RegentChristianOnlineAcademyBC – This is our NEW promotional page.  It is the page hyperlinked from the Facebook logo on our website and it’s status is public.  Its purpose is to evangelize, to share the word, and to invite others to learn about the wonderful community we have developed together at RCOA; both online and face to face (F2F).  On this page we share encouraging words, testimonials, helpful and thought provoking articles that our curators have hand-picked based on needs within our present and future community.

We would love every Facebook-using RCOA family to like  this page and share the posts that speak to your heart to encourage, edify, and exhort your fellow homelearning Facebook friends.  It is our purpose to educate those who may have questions about this wonderful opportunity we have in BC for families to learn together, to be involved in a vibrant community, and to have the support through relationship that our RCOA team provides.

RCOAElementary – This group is set to secret status to be a private group reserved for those who have elementary aged children enrolled or registered with RCOA regardless of location. We will cross-post important announcements from our promotional page and newsletter/blog to this group and we also encourage you to ask questions, share highlights, and connect with each other.  We also encourage you to share resource recommendations, ideas, and encouragement through this group.

Our Community Class Coordinators manage Community Class Facebook groups to encourage local connections and as a place to invite others to field-trips and share about local events of interest. To join these private groups, request an invitation by emailing your co-ordinator.

RCOAHighSchool – This group is set to secret status to be a private group reserved for teachers, parents, learners, and alumni involved in our High School Programs. We cross-post important announcements from mYrcoa and teachers post photo albums of highlights from Clubs, Classes, and Activities (F2F opportunities).  We invite everyone involved to interact within this group and request that members do not share publicly any photos from this page that include other learners.
