Covid-19 Update for BC Schools

Please see a joint statement from Health Minister Dix and Provincial Health Officer (PHO) Dr. Bonnie Henry.

Along with encouraging proper hand hygiene and staying home when unwell, the PHO also advises travellers (spring break, school trips etc.) to conduct risk assessments in advance and consider postponing trips to impacted areas – while noting that impacted areas are changing as COVID-19 continues to evolve. Please find all current health-related travel notices here.

The PHO asks people to refrain from customary greetings such as handshaking, hugging and kissing during the remainder of flu season.

For parents and educators, CBC Kids along with the PHO produced a kid-centric Q and A video about COVID-19.  CBC Kids/ COVID-19 story.  Click here to view it.

We are glad you did!

We are sorry to inform you that our Learning Services program is now full for the 2021-2022 school year.  We strive to provide the best possible support for all of our families, and due to an overwhelming response, all of our resources are at capacity.  This means that at this time we are unable to admit any new learners with KPQ or R designations or other learners requiring learning support assistance.

We don't take it lightly that you reached out to us.  We will keep your name on the waitlist in case there are some withdrawals, but we recommend that you seek other arrangements for your Fall programming.

Blessings to you as you plan your year
