From The Pen of Our Principal

We are honoured by the steady flow of re-enrolment application forms that have been coming in since February 1st and the many new family applications since March 1st. What a job it is for us that God has called you to be a part of our RCOA family. For some of you, the decisions to continue with home educating and to participate in face-to-face or not, are simple, straightforward decisions. For others, these decisions may not be so clear. It is for you especially that I offer my prayers today.

When you feel the pull to educate at home, it takes courage to do so – especially if it goes against the status quo in your neighbourhood, friend group and/or family. Just like any area of parenting, we need to resist the urge to make comparisons or put unreasonable expectations on ourselves. Be encouraged. When you step out in faith, God will meet you, and guide you in what is best for your family and your children. We can be encouraged by God’s words to Joshua to be strong and courageous. We don’t need to be afraid or discouraged because the Lord our God is with us wherever we go.

In Christ,
